The weather wreaked havoc with Horsham's sporting schedule on Saturday, November 30.
As rain fell from mid-morning, senior cricket and tennis was cancelled which gave the region's lawn bowlers centre stage for round nine of the Wimmera Playing Area weekend pennant.
However, with the water built up on the greens, play was delayed by just under an hour.
But after the work of the home clubs, play could finally get underway.
Goroke/Edenhope traveled to play Horsham Golf, while nearby Sunnyside hosted Dimboola.
Ladder leaders Coughlin Park made the trip to Kaniva and Nhill welcomed Horsham City.
Horsham's weekend sporting action will conclude on Sunday, December 1, as the Horsham Hornets finish the CBL regular season with a home match against nearby Ararat.
The Hornets have already locked in a home semi-final on December 7, and will be out to qualify for their second-straight grand final
