Final scores were Laharum 15.13 (103) to Natimuk 7.6 (48).

Laharum continued where they left off from their dominant win over Rupanyup, going up 43-6 after the first quarter.

The Demons were never in doubt as they extended their lead in the middle quarters before winning by 55 points.

Robbie Miller, coach of Laharum, said the strong performance was indicative of the playing group’s aim for consistency and improvement.

“We're trying to be a team that shows up each week and plays the best footy we can, rather than have lapses or an off week,” Miller said.

“We started well and just maintained it.”

The best players for the winning side were William Miller and Shannon Argall, while Ned Glascott and Mitchell Clarke were among the best for Natimuk.

Laharum youngster Chase Whelan had another fine game in front of goals, booting six majors, while Cody Frizon kicked two for Natimuk.

Despite their decisive performances in recent weeks, the long-weekend break couldn’t come sooner for Laharum as more players were added to their injury list.

“We lost Reuben Lander, our captain, to a split eyebrow and then I went down with a hamstring in the second quarter,” Miller said.

“We also have seven out from our regular side, but it was good to give some guys some opportunities and reward for training and performances.

“We also had three of the under 17s play which was good to see.”

Laharum are currently third on the ladder, while Natimuk remain in seventh.
