Although the A-grade team lost their game against Noradjuha-Quantong at Taylors Lake on Sunday, they still played fantastically, going down by only 14 goals - NQ 51, JR 44.
The Under-15 and Under-17 Jeparit Rainbow netball teams played Natimuk in Rupanyup on Saturday, and came away the victors in what were some truly nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat matches.
The final scores saw the Under-17s defeat Natimuk by one point - JR 25, Natimuk 24.
The Under-15s defeated their opponents soundly, by four points - JR 37, Natimuk 33.
An absolutely amazing effort, girls - especially when one of the opponent is well over six-foot tall!
Both teams will hit the courts again this coming Sunday in Kalkee.
The Under-15s will go head to head with Edenhope-Apsley at 10am, and the Under-17 team will face Taylors Lake at 11am.
Edenhope-Apsley’s Under-15s have soundly bat the JR girls in both home-and-away matches this year, but the Storm won’t back down and will ensure they have to battle for every goal.
Taylors Lake’s Under-17 team may have defeated JR in their first encounter this season, but JR turned the tables in the second, taking the win in the second-last round of home-and-away games.

Good luck to the Senior footballers who face Harrow-Balmoral on Saturday at 2.20pm in Stawell.
JR faced Harrow-Balmoral only once this season, in round three, and have come a long way as a team since that 35 point defeat, and should be well-rested after last weekend's bye.
