How Ellen found the formula to success
Ellen Bish prepared for her exams in Year 12 with lots of study, and plenty of breaks and naps.

And it proved to be a formula of success, with the 18-year-old Warracknabeal Secondary graduate earning the honour of College Dux with an ATAR Score of 96.90.
Ellen completed Biology, Chemistry, English, Maths Methods and Physics this year, having conquered Further Maths last year.
Last Monday morning, Ellen's partner came over to her house after they decided they would learn of their results together.
"My partner came to my place, and we opened our results together at 7am," she said.;
"We were amazed to find out our scores were only 0.15 points apart, so he was very close to tying with me for Dux."
Ellen said she was "pretty surprised" to find out she had performed so well.
"My principal called me that morning to congratulate me on my achievement," Ellen said.
"It felt very rewarding to know that all the hard work had paid off."
Ellen said her biggest challenge with school was finding consistent motivation, while she found it hard in VCE to be able to balance homework and study for all classes, while keeping rested.
Exercising and travelling helped her balance her education with lifestyle.
With her VCE done and dusted, Ellen is looking forward to an exciting and successful future.
"I hope to study Science and Engineering at Monash University, and see where that course takes me," Ellen said.
"I also really hope to travel in the future."
