Horsham's Wimmera Lutheran College campus started the week off on a high note with House of Representatives speaker Milton Dick MP visiting on Monday, February 24.

The Labor MP dropped by the school with Mallee MP Dr Anne Webster as part of the Parliament in Schools program.

Together, they spoke about the life of a politician and what their day looks like when in their electorate compared to working in Parliament House during a sitting week.

The Oxley MP said he was keen to visit several schools in the Mallee electorate.

"It is a particularly important time for civics education and engagement," he said.
