The town will blossom with sweet scent as the Horsham Spring Garden Festival takes over the botanical gardens on October 14 and 15.

The festival is coordinated by the Rotary Club of Horsham and is known as a "garden lover's paradise" for those looking to learn some fresh new gardening techniques.

Over two days it will feature several displays where visitors will be able to pick up gardening tips from expert horticulturists and fellow amateur gardeners.

Exhibitors will have ideas on show and gardening products available for sale.

At the same time, there will be demonstrations of flower arranging and possibly even some lessons for DIY enthusiasts.

Garden festival chairman Phil Lohrey said due to the event's cancellation last year he anticipated a large turnout this time.

"New exhibitors are welcome and ticket prices will remain the same as before Covid," Mr Lohrey said.

He said there would be plenty to interest and occupy children as well as organisers expected many families would attend.
