Horsham's Carols by Candlelight to support Wimmera Against Cancer in Kids
Carols by Candlelight lights up the Soundshell on December 8.

Countless Horsham locals filled Sawyer Park on the evening of Sunday, December 8 for the city's 2024 carols by candlelight.
The soundshell was beaming with festive spirit as all members of the family were ringing in the Christmas cheer with the local choir and Horsham Rural City Band providing the traditional soundtrack.
A grim week of rainy weather leading up to the event may have made some Santa bugs nervous, but the sun was shining for the annual gathering.
The event will be supporting Wimmera Against Cancer in Kids with attendees able to donate on the night.
"We've chosen that charity, like we did the Christian Emergency Food Centre last year, because they impact Horsham and the Wimmera," said event organiser Simon Dandy.
"So they actually impact people locally."
Mr Dandy said there was an abundance of local talent ready to perform for the santa hat spotted crowd.
"[Carols is] giving the chance for people to come together," Mr Dandy said.
"When people go to Carols, that's when the true Christmas season kicks off.
"I think most people leave that night thinking Christmas is just around the corner, and they feel good about things."
