Generous Grampians Health staff marked World Homeless Day by collecting and donating non-perishable pantry items for those in need.
Staff across Horsham, Dimboola, Edenhope, Stawell and Ballarat contributed by placing food baskets at their respective campuses which were filled with tinned goods, dried food, canned beverages and cereals.
Volunteers Marylou and John Spehr accepted the donatiuons on behalf of the Christian Emergency Food Centre (CEFC) in Horsham.
The CEFC provides food parcels to individuals and families in need.
These can be accessed either directly from the centre or through a social worker, and can be delivered to most towns in the Wimmera and Southern Mallee region.
The CEFC is staffed by 65 volunteers and helped over 730 households in the past year.
