Road users in Horsham can expect disruptions in the final week of February as sewer repair works are carried out at the intersection of Hamilton and Firebrace streets.

Traffic headed northbound along Firebrace Street, and eastbound along Hamilton will be affected by the partial closure of the roundabout.

The repairs, to be carried out by GWMWater's contractors, Underground Experts, are scheduled to take place between 7am and 4pm from Tuesday, February 25, to Friday, February 28.

Traffic at the intersection was previously impacted when emergency sewer repairs were needed in early December 2024.

GWMWater is asking drivers to avoid the intersection whenever possible, observe traffic management and slow down when in the area.

A statement released by GWMWater on Wednesday, February 19, acknowledged the impact these works could have on the nearby businesses.

"We understand these works may be inconvenient for your establishment and we apologise for any inconvenience caused," it said.

"We will make every effort to complete these repair works within the above timeframe."
