Warracknabeal CFA was among organisations represented at a recent meeting of town committees in Horsham.
The committees gathered to celebrate their achievements and discuss different ways of fundraising for the Good Friday Appeal.
Warracknabeal CFA social committee president Tennille Jonasson and members Julie Sharp and Lorraine Sleep took part.
Since the appeal’s inception, local collectors have gathered more than $445,000 in donations from the Warracknabeal community, including $28,098 this year.
Members of the Nhill, Kaniva and Horsham Lions Clubs also participated in the meet-up.
The gathering was hosted by Good Friday Appeal head of fundraising and communications Simone Dalla Riva and community fundraising co-ordinator Anna Wilson and comprised a chat over morning tea at the Farmhouse Cafe.
