A major overhaul of the driving range last year, saw the club build a new tee-off shelter and a 36-metre extension to the range.

The illumination of the tee-off area saw a 22 per cent increase in driving range use over a 12-month period.

This notable upturn in participation, led the golf club to undertake a more extensive lighting upgrade at the course, including the full illumination of the driving range and putting green with the intention of improving the accessibility of the course and allowing for practice, events and clinics.

“We are thankful for the opportunity to provide safer, more accessible facilities to the public, and we hope it will encourage more people to give our sport a go,” Horsham Golf Club Manager Darryl McCrae said.

“We look forward to seeing more new faces on the range.”
