Fresh faces and familiar foes: who will lead your WFNL, HDFNL club into 2025
With pre-seasons underway, the focus has turned to the 2025 season.

With club's returning to pre-season training ahead of 2025, several clubs have confirmed their football and netball coaches.
Stay updated with all the coaching moves from the Wimmera and Horsham District football and netball leagues, as well as news from across the Mininera.
After the club broke a long football finals drought in 2024, the Nhill Tigers have added experience to its coaching ranks for the 2025 WFNL season.
Trevor Ryan has joined the club as seniors' co-coach after he spent the past four seasons with Birchip-Watchem in the North Central Football League.
"I'm very excited, to come across from a different competition to a new club certainly motivates you to get out there and do the best you can," Ryan said.
"To be coaching in the Wimmera league is something I'm looking forward to."
The Stawell Warriors received some welcomed news as its senior footballers hit the track in preparation for the 2025 WFNL season under new senior coach James Sullivan and incumbent A Grade netball coach Jemma Clarkson.
Fellow Wimmera league club Dimboola will have a new senior coach at the helm for the 2025 season with Rodney Mackley taking the reins.
Former coach Jack Landt will remain at Dimboola Recreation Reserve as a player.
On the netball court, Ant Toet returns to the role of A Grade co-coach after a season away from the top job, joining her for 2025 will be Olivia Beugelaar.
Pimpinio will have new A Grade co-coaches in Lana Ellis and Hayley Hatcher in the 2025 season, after Jayde Ellis led the club last season.
At Taylors Lake, interleague coach Sharon Fedke will take charge of the A Grade squad.
Edenhope Apsley will see Lavinia Fox lead the Saints' A Grade squad
While Horsham and Horsham Saints will have new netball coaches with Georgie Carberry (Demons) and Vernetta Taylor (Saints) at the helm of the two powerhouses.
Several clubs have added a co-coaches to their ranks for the upcoming season.
Ryan Folkes joins Brett Hargreaves at Swifts and Jacob Eats shares the role with Jonno Hicks at Kaniva Leeor United.
Taylor Shelley also joins Fiona Rowe at the helm of Noradjuha Quantong's A Grade side.
Whilst Andy Devereaux will take charge of Kalkee after sharing the role with Steve Schultz in 2024.
After three seasons and one premiership, Brayden Ison's tenure as Rupanyup's senior coach has come to an end.
Experienced clubmen Daniel Schaper and Cam Weston have been appointed as co-coaches.
Most clubs have retained their coaches for the season.
Defending senior football premiers Ararat (Tom Mills and Tom Williamson) and Harrow Balmoral (Jai Thompson) remain settled at the top.
As will their respective netball teams with Sally Noble and Emily Langley recommitting for 2025.
While the Southern Mallee Thunder have confirmed that Jodie Hayes and Steph Thomson will lead the club in its second season.
Damian Cameron (Noradjuha Quantong), Guy Smith (Pimpinio), Justin Beugelaar (Taylors Lake), Shannon Argall and Robbie Miller (Laharum) and Adi Campbell (Edenhope Apsley) will head up their club's respective 2025 efforts.
Whilst Laharum's Bec McIntyre will lead the Demons' once again after claiming an elusive second flag for the red and blue in 2024.
Kalkee's Paula Wiedermann, Kaniva Leeor United's Kylie King and Swifts' Kristy Dodds and Amy Kenny will lead their respective clubs once again.
In the Wimmera league Jordyn Burke (Horsham), Ben Knott (Horsham Saints), Gareth Hose (Minyip Murtoa), Kieran Delahunty (Southern Mallee Thunder) and Matt Walder (Warrack) all re-signed for 2025.
Great Western as kept continuity ahead of the Mininera and District seasons.
Nigel Sibson will continue as senior football coach, while Tessa O'Callaghan will remain in the A Grade post.
Moyston Willaura's Rhys Cronin will oversee his second season in charge of the Pumas, while Mel Beal will lead the A Grade squad.
At Tatyoon, Andy Challis will coach his first season with the Hawks in 2025.
