HORSHAM District A Grade netball has created a log-jam at the top of the premiership table after the opening two rounds with five teams all undefeated.
Tomorrow’s round three will pit two of the undefeated teams against each other while the remainder of the round will see the undefeated teams start favourites to maintain their perfect openings to the season.
The game of the round will take place at Pimpinio when the home team welcomes last season’s runner-up Laharum.
Respective winners over Kaniva Leeor United and Swifts, the two sides have shown good early season form with Pimpinio’s Tahlia Thompson and Lana Ellis in good form last weekend with Ellis topping her game with 29 goals.
Their battle against the Demons will come down to some key defensive work as they work to stop the shooting power of Caitlin Story who was impressive last weekend with 51 goals, teaming well with shooting partner Maddison Iredell, while sister Emalie was a key contributor in defence.
Ladder leader Edenhope Apsley will welcome Kaniva Leeor United to their home court in Edenhope and will be heavily favoured to maintain their unbeaten record.
The Saints were impressive over Taylors Lake with Shannon Freeman and Carlee Feder in good form and will again prove hard to stop as Cougar team-mates Emily Vivian and Lauren Brown look to continue their strong form of last week.
In other matches tomorrow, Swifts will welcome Rupanyup to North Park, while Natimuk United and Noradjuha Quantong will do battle at the Showgrounds.
Second-placed Kalkee will welcome Taylors Lake and Harrow Balmoral and Jeparit Rainbow will see one team open their season account when they clash at Balmoral.
