Fisher leads B Grade netball goal race
The title for most goals in the 2025 B Grade netball competition in the Horsham District Football Netball League looks to be a two-person race with just four rounds to go.
Natimuk United’s Codi-Rae Fisher currently leads B Grade with 361 goals, an impressive feat considering the shooter has missed two games this season.
Closely behind Fisher is Edenhope Apsley’s Alex King with 322 goals.
Natimuk United have dominated the B Grade competition thus far, currently undefeated with a 13-0 record.
Beyond Natimuk, all other finals places remain up for grabs, with Rupanyup, Noradjuha Quantong, Edenhope Aspley, Kalkee and Harrow Balmoral all fighting for a top five finish.
In C Grade, Pimpinio remain the favourites with an undefeated record, with Harrow Balmoral well placed in second with an 11-2 record.
Pimpinio’s Lana Ellis leads C Grade with 311 goals, with the Saints’ Abby Hepburn still in the goals race with 277 to her name.
C Reserve is a one-woman show for most goals, with Laharum’s Charli Watts knocking down 444 shots, a big factor in her side’s position at the top of the ladder.
In the junior grades, Natimuk’s Emma Uebergang leads a very tight goal race, currently with 275 goals, just two ahead of Pimpinio’s Ellie Slorach, while Rupanyup’s Ilze Van Zyl has 247 goals.
