And now you can study for free, with a TAFE Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (CHC30121) or if you already hold a certificate III you can apply for the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC50121)*.
You’ll develop the skills needed to shape life and start your pathway towards a meaningful career.
Early childhood educators are the backbone of Australia’s social and economic security, and are essential for the well-being, learning and development of children across the country.
Working in childcare is also an incredible way to build strong relationships, as you will connect with the children you work with, parents, families and everyone in the community.
The hands-on skills and knowledge gained from TAFE will lead to one of the most in-demand professions right now. You’ll start with simple observation, but by the end of the 12 month certificate or diploma, you’ll be confident and professionally ready to implement innovative learning frameworks and inspiring the next generation of young children.
And our teachers will provide support at every step of the way. If you are experiencing issues – our teachers support you, don’t judge, and will encourage you to take on opportunities as they arise.
We’ll also support you with 160 – 280hours of workplace learning, so you’ll have plenty of experience to put what you’ve learned into action.
