With Edenhope Apsley set for a round 18 bye, this Saturday’s round 17 men’s seniors football clash against Natimuk United will be the Saints’ last chance to register a win in the 2025 season.
In the season that wasn’t meant to be, Edenhope Apsley suffered four heavy defeats to start the season but managed to show signs of improvement in numerous competitive defeats.
However, the Saints have been unable to get over the line for a victory yet.
Despite losing to Natimuk 81-18 in their previous encounter in round six, Edenhope have a home-ground advantage and will be looking to produce their best to wrap up their season.
Natimuk will also be hoping to finish their season on a positive note as they enter Saturday’s clash with five consecutive losses.
The Rams have improved on their one-win 2024 campaign, currently with four wins including a historic upset of Harrow Balmoral, but have struggled to replicate their midseason form in recent games.
The Natimuk side will feel confident knowing the result from round six, but an away trip for their young side will pose a challenge.
Natimuk forward Adrianne Lupton will be the player to watch, having kicked five goals when the two sides met earlier in the year.
