Field Days president’s message
The Speed Lions Club Mallee Machinery Field Days are fast approaching. This year they are being held on Wednesday 31st July and Thursday 1st August.
As usual we have a great range of farm machinery from small to large and something of interest to all farmers.
Again, we have the undercover tent full of many different exhibits and of course the ever-popular ladies’ craft tent, with many wonderful items for sale.
We are very privileged to have past AFL great Terry Daniher as our guest speaker.
Terry has a background in farming, growing up on the family farm at Ungarie in New South Wales.
He will speak about his journey from the farm to becoming an AFL footballer.
He will also give an insight into the battle his brother Neale is having with MND.
We encourage everyone to wear their MND beanies in support.
We will also be having a donation box for anyone wishing to make a donation to this worthy cause.
The field day site is coming together nicely, through the efforts of our great committee.
We would like to thank you, the public, for your continued support over the years that makes this event what it is.
Hope to see you all again in a couple of weeks.
