Farmers pledge to fight
MARNOO’s small population swelled dramatically on Saturday night, with a Farmer’s Fightback ‘FUNdraiser’ meeting abuzz with about 1000 people from as far as New South Wales and Gippsland to galvanise opposition to a range of Federal and State Government policies they claim target farmers’ livelihoods.

In front of about 1000 people at Marnoo on Saturday night, One Nation leader Pauline Hanson spoke at a Farmer’s Fightback meeting which included Barnaby Joyce and several ordinary farmers telling of their opposition to transmission lines and other projects likely to affect farmland use.
