Fairness and transparency: Bowe keen for second term in Horsham council
David Bowe will seek election in the 2024 HRCC Oatlands Ward
David Bowe is nominating for the Oatlands Ward in the 2024 local government elections.
I have nominated in Oatlands Ward where I have lived since 1997.
I'm running for council because our community deserves leadership that genuinely listens and acts with transparency and inclusivity with a deep understanding of the issues facing both Oatlands Ward and the broader Horsham Rural City community.
My focus is on building on our strengths across all areas, driving sustainable growth, and making sure the council stays in touch with the needs and aspirations of our community.
Throughout my time engaging with residents across Horsham Rural City as councillor, I've always prioritised listening to concerns, providing clear information, and working to find practical solutions.
My approach is guided by fairness and transparency, with every decision informed by facts, data, and genuine community feedback. I am dedicated to focusing on solutions that deliver real action and outcomes, benefiting all of our community.
My aim is to ensure Horsham Rural City remains a thriving, connected place for everyone and includes fostering economic growth that benefits all and ensuring that essential services and infrastructure are sustainable and accessible across the region.
I'm committed to pushing for improved community consultation, engagement, governance, and communication within the council to build a better internal and external culture.
I want every Horsham Rural City community resident to feel heard and valued.
This involves being focussed on fair, accessible services and addressing areas that need priority -improving waste management, supporting local businesses, upgrading roads, footpaths, facilities, parks, and open spaces, not just major community projects.
Through open dialogue, timely engagement, and consideration of the broader impact of our decisions, we can make Horsham a vibrant regional hub with opportunities for everyone.
By putting the community first and fostering collaboration, we can achieve shared progress that benefits everyone in Horsham Rural City community.
