Emergency services fight out-of-control blaze outside of Horsham
Motorists should avoid the Drung area if possible.

Update 3pm: VicEmergency has listed the fire as 'under control' just after 3pm.
However, motorists should avoid the area as emergency services clean up the affected area.
Earlier: Motorists should avoid the Drung area if possible as emergency services work to bring a grassfire under control.
Firefighting crews from Horsham, Dooen and Green Lake were called to the Horsham-Lubeck Road blaze at about 2.40pm following an alleged car accident between School and East roads.

It is understood a ute hit a power pole, and the ensuing fire spread to a nearby paddock.
The Wimmera Mail-Times understands the driver was unharmed from the accident.
