The Warracknabeal Golf Club invites visitors and keen golfers to come out and participate in the Easter in the ‘Beal golf events over the four-day weekend.
The Warracknabeal Easter Golf Program is a great way to check out the lovely facilities we have to golf and bowl on, and proudly works in conjunction with the Easter in the ‘Beal activities which encourage many people to visit or return home.
The program provides a healthy, fun option for golfers over the four days which is well
supported by visitors and club members.
Green fee and social players are most welcome.
Four generous major sponsors, one per day, provide great trophies and support the club each year - Warracknabeal Home Timber and Hardware, Emmett’s Warracknabeal, Royal Mail Hotel, and Drummond Golf Ballarat.
There are prizes for Nearest the Pin on three holes each day and a major raffle over the tournament with a $400 Ritchie’s IGA voucher for the first prize winner, and a $200 Warrack Butcher voucher for second prize.
Raffle tickets will be available today, March 31, in front of Ritchies IGA.
Club members also have tickets to sell, if you talk to them.
Food, snacks and drinks are available over the bar each day, thanks to the catering group, and Warrack Hot Bread bakery is supplying the pies and pasties.
Friday kicks the tournament off with a Warrack Home Timber & Hardware Men’s and Women’s Stableford 18 holes.
Saturday is Royal Mail Hotel Men’s and Women’s Stableford.
Sunday is Emmett’s Warracknabeal Men’s and Women’s Stableford.
Monday completes the tournament with a Drummond Golf Ballarat 4BBB any combination.
All entries are post entries, which means come on out to the golf course at 11.30am and register your name for a noon hit off.
Or morning golfers are most welcome as long as they tee off before 9.30am.
