My name is Dylan Hesselberg, and I have nominated for this election because I believe in the transformative potential of community. I consider local politics (when done well!) a powerful medium to cultivate genuine social action that reflects the needs and aspirations of residents and am deeply committed to enhancing our local area by ensuring that every voice is not only heard but valued.
My background in Civil Engineering and major project delivery, combined with strategic leadership and corporate governance experience in the state and local government sectors, equips me with the skills necessary to navigate our community's challenges with professionalism, compassion, insight, and good old-fashioned common sense.
My vision for Horsham is one where families flourish, businesses thrive, and community engagement is not just encouraged, but celebrated. I see a future where our community is vibrant and everyone has a role to play in its success.
My commitment is to revitalise our Council, prioritise sustainable development, and support local enterprises, fostering an environment where anyone can provide input and contribute to our collective well-being.
I am determined to bring positive change to Horsham by enhancing public services, promoting job creation, and ensuring that our dynamic rural city remains a desirable place to live, work, and raise a family.
