Dimmy's big top fun
It was a glorious March autumn day for the first Dimboola Fun Fest event on Saturday.

The Tower Park was alive with colour for the circus themed event and plenty of people cam out to enjoy the day, do a bit of retail shopping, grab a bacon and egg sandwich or a sausage from the Dimboola Lions and enjoy some fun entertainment from circus performer, Danny Oldaker.
Danny kept everyone entertained throughout the morning with juggling and circus activities along with a lot of fun.
There was a good variety of stalls from local preserves, card, clothing, candles, books, steampunk art, food stalls and a sausage sizzle.
The new Sugar Baby Ice Cream Van was also opened by Hindmarsh deputy mayor, Rosie Barker.
The Steampunk treasure hunt took many families on an adventure around town as part of our effort to start engaging the community for the 2027 Steampunk Festival.
These events are assisted by a grant from the Hindmarsh Shire's Community Event funding – the next Dimboola Fun-Fest event will be the Mother's Day event with a market on Saturday, May 9.
