Dimboola Ambulance teaches vital skills to community
Dimboola Ambulance was in attendance at the monthly Dimboola Tower Park Market last Saturday November 9, for Heart Start month.

Set up near the Old Shire Hall, Evelyn King and Rachel Krause, Dimboola Ambulance community officers, demonstrated the correct technique for CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Many eager participants then had a go themselves doing CPR and using the AED.
During a cardiac arrest, minutes can mean the difference between life and death.
With the help of community members, utilising their CPR skills and possible use of an AED, they can raise the chance of survival.
Community members are encouraged to sign up to GoodSAM, a contactable group that will be summoned by triple zero (000) to commence CPR and/or use an AED on cardiac arrest patients until paramedics arrive.
