Demons trusting their gameplan in the lead up to grand final showdown
It is the third-straight decider between the Demons and Saints.
Horsham coach Ebonie Salter is confident in her side's ability as the finishing touches are put on preparation for the WFNL A Grade grand final on Saturday, September 21.
The Demons progressed after an eight-goal victory against Dimboola.
"We've made sure we had a good recovery after our game on Sunday. It was pretty physical, and we expected that, and we've pulled up well," Salter said.
"So far, we've been really lucky not to have any major injuries this year, and we hope we can just get through the week and come out firing on Saturday.
"So we're really looking forward to it."
For the recently announced A Grade coach of the year, her side will largely look the same as its previous three meetings with the Horsham Saints this season.
"We'll be making some little changes and different adjustments, but for the most part, the way we are playing and our game plan is going to stay the same, and we're fully confident in that," she said.
"We just need to string that together for the full four quarters. If we can do that, then we're in with a real chance."
Another key to the game for Salter is ensuring that her side has play on its terms, particularly if the Saints throw some different looks early in the match.
"I would expect that they would have some tricks up their sleeve that they haven't quite shown us yet," she said.
"We just want to take control of the game early, if we can, and see if they can use those tricks early so that we've got time to adjust to it."
Looking at the season, Salter believes the depth across the whole club continues to drive its performance.
The Demons had Georgie Carberry, Romi Miller and Imogen Worthy named in the league's team of the year.
"It's definitely one of the most talented groups of girls that I've coached, and the depth right through the club is just amazing," she said.
"It means we can train harder and really push ourselves with the girls that are nipping at our heels to get a go in A Grade. There are a lot of players that want to be playing that higher grade.
"It is a really positive thing for the club. For the A Grade, it's been great, but it's also good for the long-term success of the club and to keep that competitive spirit going."
