Demons lock in their man
The Horsham Demons have locked in Jordy Burke for 2025. The club legend has led them to the finals in his return to coaching in 2024 after they finished second last in 2023.

Burke last coached the team in 2022, took a year off in 2023, and has made a winning return to coaching.
The Demons currently sit in fourth place on the ladder with eight wins, having only managed two wins and a draw last season.
Burke said he was in discussion with the team for many weeks.
"We have mutually been talking about it over the last four to six weeks, and it's one of those organic things that happened, and one thing led to another," Burke said.
Burke is pleased with how his troops responded this year.
"I was pretty confident and had a lot of belief in our list, as they are very young and the club recruited well," Burke said.
"Over the last few years, the boys stuck with the club, and the kids that came out of the juniors really stepped up. It was also a massive group effort that went in before me."
Whilst it's too early to tell what Burke's coaching panel will look like, he pointed out that it was good to get it done now so they can focus on finals.
"The most important thing for now is to focus on the rest of the year and making sure everyone is right to go as there are a few big weeks coming up," Burke said.
"I believe most of everything will stay the same in 2025 as everyone is enjoying themselves, but you never know what can happen."
