Debate will be out of this world
Edenhope will tonight be at the centre of a debate, finally answering the question: Are Men from Mars and Women from Venus... or is that just an excuse?
The Great Debate, hosted by Grampians Health Edenhope, will see three men and three women untangle the baffling, infuriating and often comical customs of the opposite sex.
All of life’s quandaries will be mined in the light-hearted exploration of gender and heterosexual relationships.
“We hope this event will bring the community together for a laugh, but also open the door to better communication and personal reflection,” social worker June Spencer said.
Ms Spencer, playing the role of Judge Juney, will keep the speakers in line but audience members will cast their votes at the end.
Edenhope Lions Club has funded venue hire and finger food for the free event, which will be staged at 7pm on Friday August 23, at Edenhope Golf Club.
