CWA bright and blooming

Wearing pink was the order of the day for Willenabrina CWA’s August Meeting to celebrate Pink Day.
One member arrived dressed in pink from her ,eanie right down to her pink moccasins, and topped with a pink dressing gown.
We raised $900 throughout the year to support CWA of Victoria charities as well as local needy causes.
The Central Wimmera Mallee Group Conference is to be held at Hopetoun on Tuesday August 29, with several members planning to attend, and craft for the Branch Competition has been organised.
Members participated in a quiz organised by Julia Hausler - the answers all had a pink connection. The winners were Gwen Coates, Heather Atwell and Jill King.
The monthly competition winners were:
- Four Marie biscuits decorated pink
First Heather Atwell, second Elaine Quick, third Sandra Stronach.
- Bloom
First Elaine Quick, second Jill King, third Judy Lynch.
At the September meeting we plan to have our sister-branch's Dimboola members join us for the afternoon.
