CFA boost before fire season
LOCAL brigades in the CFA have seen a boost in numbers in the last year, as part of a statewide uptick in recruits. With an increase of about 1500 firefighters across Victoria since January, Kaniva and Nhill captains spoke with The Wimmera Mail-Times about the positive trend for the brigades in their areas and what it has meant for their respective communities.
