Fancy rubbing shoulders – and possibly raising a glass or two – with the likes of celebrity foodies Miguel Maestre, Dylan Lewis, Merrick Watts and MasterChef’s Khanh Ong?
Then Halls Gap is the place to be this weekend.
From this evening until Sunday, Grampians Grape Escape will deliver wall-to-wall wine, food and music.
Kicking off with a live performance tonight by ’60s Beach Boys cover band Shell Yeah, 19-Twenty and Madhouse, the festival will feature 15 bands in total over the three days.
It will also include more than 100 street stalls positioned throughout the town stocking everything from wine and whiskey to calamari and candles.
On Saturday and Sunday, all things palate-related will take centre stage in a series of exhibitor master classes and cooking demonstrations.
There will also be fun activities for kids.
Special guests Maestre, Lewis, Watts and Ong will be on site to meet and mingle tomorrow.
In the afternoon, the prestigious Grampians Winemakers Barrique Auction will, as always, be a highlight.
Now in its 30th year, Grampians Grape Escape is an annual showcase of many of western Victoria’s best producers and makers.
