WFNL 2026 preview: Carberry looking to build consistency
In her third year at the helm of the Demons, Georgie Carberry is looking to build better consistency within the A grade netball side this season.

Carberry, who made the move from basketball to netball, grew up with an active lifestyle, always playing sport.
She first played for Horsham United before moving to the Demons, where she has played all of her junior and senior netball.
Before moving into her coaching role, she was involved in assisting and mentoring the club's junior players.
The Demons finished second last season with a record of four losses and 12 wins.
Defeated in the grand final by the Horsham Saints 80 to 43, Carberry said there were plenty of positives in 2025.
"Particularly in terms of the growth of players, development of the team and building depth within the A grade squad," she said.
"While there were performances that were strong throughout the year, an area for improvement is maintaining greater consistency across all four quarters."
Carberry said there were a lot of new players at the club, which added a lot of excitement and depth to the senior grades.
"Our goal this season is to create an enjoyable and successful team environment, continue working hard on our style of play and focus on maintaining consistency throughout matches," Carberry said.
