Cameron signs for 2025
Noradjuha Quantong has wasted little time, signing up senior coach Damian Cameron for 2025.
In his first year at the club in 2023, the Bombers made the Preliminary Final, losing a close game to the Jeparit Rainbow Storm. In 2024, the Bombers are expected to go deep in the finals again and are currently sitting in third spot, just one game behind the Swifts.
Cameron has the respect of the club, with President Darren Scott pointing out his connection.
"Everyone at the club is very happy. He connects with the players well and has a lot of respect," Scott said.
"It was his job if he wanted it, and we wanted to get him locked up now so we can start retaining footballers and starting a recruiting base, and you can only do that when you have a coach in place."
As for the season itself, Scott is happy with how the team is traveling.
"We had a slow start to the year, and the loss against Harrow was horrible, but we have bounced back, especially that win against the Swifts two weeks ago," Scott said.
"We are tracking where we thought we would be at the start of the year."
