PATRONS can expect mild weather for the 135th Warracknabeal Show on October 12, where new and old attractions will be gearing up to make the event fun for young and old.
Following a washed out 2022, the horse rings are returning, along with the animal nursery, pavillions and competitions.
For the thrill seekers, there will be a giant jumping castle, a bungy trampoline and teacup rides, while children hoping to win the coveted title of Showgirl or Showboy will don their best outfits hoping to catch the judges' eyes.
Agriculture will be a focus, with a shearing demonstration and the new header cabin simulator.
Sheaf tossers will test their strength in the Victorian Sheaf Tossing Championships as they try their best to toss a straw sheaf over a high bar, while technology will also be a new feature with the inclusion of Level Up gaming events, virtual reality and retro games.
Warracknabeal Brass Band will perform at the official opening and for the hungry tummies there will be a plenty of food options avilable.
Of course, what would the show be without the usual fare of lollies, showbags and the pavillion competitions including fruits, farm produce, art and cookery.
Entry is $25 for a pre-purchased family ticket, or at the gate the cost will be adults $15 and secondary students $5 (children free).
