Building the focus for Warrack Eagles, Demons
This Saturday the Demons will travel to Brim to play the Eagles and coach Matt Walder says the secret to success is going to be continuing to build on what they have done well over the season.
The coach said the Eagles were putting together a good package as a team and it was just a matter of starting the game well and maintaining what they did well.
“We’ve finally got some output from a lot of players and we have tweaked things over the last few weeks and I’d say it has actually worked for us better with players playing alternate positions or multitasking,” Walder said.
“But with the Demons, they are a side that could conceivably have won three or four of their own games and any given week they are dangerous, just as every coach and every team and every player in this league has spoken about over the season.
“You drop off X amount of percent and that door is open, because every team is so close.”
With both the Eagles and the Horsham side out of contention for finals, a bit of pride is on the line on Saturday, with the Demons looking for their first win of the season still and the side from Warrack looking for their fourth win.
Last time the sides lined up against each other, the Eagles recorded a win, but only just, 10.9 (69) to 10.12 (72).
