Brim-KSH remain unbeaten with huge win

Brim-KSH's debut match at Horsham City Oval was one to remember, defeating the Jung Tigers by 101 runs on Saturday in round four of the Horsham Cricket Association.

After winning the toss and batting, Brim-KSH recovered from 2/17 to hit their highest score of the season, 235, with the loss of seven wickets after their 45 overs.

Isaac McPherson, 50, Jeremy Preston, 69, and Mark McPherson, with an unbeaten 42, were the stars for the Eagles, with Tim Bell chipping in with a handy 20.

Jake Durdin was the pick of the Tigers bowlers with figures of 4/31 (7).

In reply, the Tigers fell for 3/34, and the competition's in-form player, Angus Adams, helped rebuild the innings alongside Tyler Puls.

Puls was dismissed for 21, and when Adams was dismissed not long after for 61, the Tigers were in trouble, needing a further 126 runs to win, with five wickets down.

Isaac McPherson was bowling tight and capitalised in the end, taking three of the last four wickets, one of which was a run-out, to dismiss the Tigers for 134 in the 38th over.

McPherson finished with figures of 3/19 (4.5).
