What a fabulous celebration and turn out we had for the St Mary’s Primary School Book Week Parade.
It was so lovely to have the Kinder students come along and join in the fun of the parade - they were all dressed up too.
All the students looked fabulous as they shared their wonderful costumes, with the many families and friends joining in and cheering on the students.
There was a terrific amount of work put in by families and students in creating their costumes, with some amazing original designs.
The staff looked pretty Fly Gly as well.
After the parade, the St Mary’s students moved into multi-aged groups to hear Book Week stories - Bev and Kev, and Market Day - before completing craft activities associated with the stories.
This was followed by a school liturgy, and a special barbecue lunch which was provided by Parent Club - sausages in bread are always a hit.
It was a very busy, but fun day.
