Black tie formal feast in a field

Rarely do you expect frocked-up ladies and dapperly dressed men to be partying in a barley paddock.

But when it comes to the Barley Banquet, it makes perfect sense - and this year's feast in a field is returning bigger and better than ever.

Attendees jump on a bus and arrive at an unknown destination for a day of dancing, dining and drinks - celebrating the community of Rupanyup and all it has to offer.

This year, organisers are partnering with Saltimbocca Catering to provide the food.

Owner Michelle and her team have catered all over Australia and the United Kingdom and her food is renowned for being beautifully curated and presented.

Entertainment will include Barley Banquet veterans Seven Car Pileup, along with Darryn Wardle and Jeff Woodward, an acoustic duo.

The event, to be held on Saturday October 19, is strictly 18 plus, and is a black tie, formal event.
