Big effort for Christmas displays

Warracknabeal currently abounds with a fantastic array of Christmas home displays. Homeowners have put in a considerable effort to bring the town alive for Christmas, and families can be seen cruising the town, often loaded with ‘littlies’ and checking out the effort many households have made to bring the town alive for the festive period.

The Herald’s secret judging team have been out checking out the displays and has concluded that the Jonasson family at 8 Coral Avenue is a clear winner again after many years of putting in a massive effort over their double block.

In commenting on the display, the judges said, “The Jonasson display features a remarkable light presentation, matched to a wide assortment of inflatables in their stunning Christmas presentation.”

Given the many properties involved in running, the runner-up was a much more difficult decision. This year, the judges decided that 90 Jamouneau Street is the runner-up for a terrific display around the entire house.
