Be a giraffe at storytime
Dimboola's Storytime session on Friday June 13 saw Thea Baker's book 'How to be a Giraffe' read to the children.

Covering the themes of belonging, resilience and embracing unique qualities, the story follows Jeffrey the Giraffe who is a little different.
He might have horns, a tail and a long neck but his stripy fur is causing quite the stir.
Everyone knows that giraffes have spots, but if Jeffrey isn't a giraffe, what could he be?
After reading the book and learning about Jeffrey, children made their own giraffes by tracing around their hands to create a giraffe shape and decorating them with their own special fur.
Storytime at Dimboola Library takes place every Friday at 10am.
