Bags of fun for all the family
Warracknabeal Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Show is only a week away from celebrating its 136th year on October 10, with lots on offer for the community to enjoy.

Horse events will commence at 9am and the Warracknabeal Sheaf Tossing Championships are set to begin at 12.30pm.
The official opening of the show will be at 2pm, followed by the showgirl/showboy competition, Lady of the Day, the VAS Ltd Junior Show Ambassador and the Rural Ambassador Award starting at 2.30pm.
At 3pm the grand parade will begin.
Warracknabeal Pharmacy will sponsor the showgirl/showboy competition the next show winners are crowned from ages zero to 12.
A wide range of children's activities will be brought to the show by sponsor WestWind Energy to keep everyone entertained for hours.
This includes Balloonatics, Jamie and Kim’s Australia Animal Zoo, miniature goats, Millie Carter Face Painting, and Professor Wallace and his Puppet Show.
Level Up Gaming will provide gaming goodness for all.
Warracknabeal Community Garden will once again be running its scarecrow competition.
For the farming fanatics there will be sheep shearing demonstrations in the shearing shed and the Natimuk Virtual Header will once again be at the show.
There will also be a mechanical bucking bull competition starting at 4pm.
For a taste of something different, Warracknabeal Show will be host Billabong Ranch from Echuca, offering camel rides.
A luncheon will be available at the Race Club Lounge with a courtesy bus departing regularly from the Young Farmers Pavilion.
Show tickets are available for purchase before the day for $30 which allows entry for two adults, two children under the age of 18 and one car.
Tickets at the gate are $30 for a family, $15 for adults and $10 for concession holders and secondary school students.
Primary school and pre-school students can enter for free.
Tickets can be purchased at the show office at 8 Scott Street, Warracknabeal, between noon and 4.30pm on October 4, 7 and 8 and from 10am to noon on October 5.
