Bags of fun and a visit from the sun
Despite rain threatening on Sunday, organisers of the Horsham Show described the event as a big success.
Horsham Agricultural Society executive officer Andrea Cross said about 6000 people had flowed through the gates in their thousands over the weekend.
"I am both delighted and pleased to say our numbers were the same as the last couple of years," she said.
"With the cost of living rising, we were concerned we might not have met the target, but we are delighted the community got behind us and supported our show."
The 148th show was a combination of carnival rides, fireworks, livestock exhibits, dog trials, shearing and competitions in art, crafts, home produce and photography.
Organisers had been keeping a close eye on the weather, but were happy it didn't impact the event majorly.
"We had to make some changes in location for some things, but other than that, we had faith the rain would finish at 11am and it did," Ms Cross said.
"It was a great result, and the weather, in the end, couldn't have been better."
Ms Cross said the monster truck rides were a big hit, as were the camel rides.
"The wrestling, they drew a big crowd of all ages and that was good," she said.
"Our shearing and wool handing competition, as usual, was at capacity, and we had to close entries early."
Ms Cross said the display of the makers pavilion, with organisers this year opting for a more ambient and rustic theme, had been a big hit with visitors.
"It was a lovely space and had some raving reviews," she added.
The show this year had four new carnival rides and a larger variety of food trucks.
