Aurora returns for stunning show

Bree Myers captured this photo of the aurora over the Wimmera River in Dimboola, as the skies lit up around 4am last Friday morning and 9pm that evening.

Scientists believe this recent wave of aurora sightings were even more spectacular than those seen back in May due to the size of the solar flare, with some locals reporting that a slight glow on the horizon was visible even to the naked eye.
