Another jam packed Saturday of summer sporting action around Horsham
Horsham's summer sport stars enjoyed another weekend of action.
It was another warm, sunny Saturday afternoon for Horsham's sport stars on November 2, for another round of the Wimmera's summer sport.
In the A grade cricket, Brim Kellalac Sheep Hills made the road trip down to Horsham to take on the Tigers at City Oval and returned north with the victory.
Defending one-day premiers West Wimmera made light work of Lubeck Murtoa, beating the mudlarks by 193 runs.
Despite only having 124 runs to defend, Laharum claimed victory against Colts, and Homers rolled Horsham Saints for only 93 runs to take the win.
While Central Park missed out with the bye in the Central Wimmera Tennis Association's Pennant, Horsham Lawn beat Drung South 11-3 and St Michaels beat Kalkee 8-6.
In the Wimmera Playing Area's weekend division lawn bowls, Goroke Edenhope beat Sunnyside, Coughlin Park beat Dimboola, Horsham City beat Kaniva, and Nhill beat Horsham Golf.
And, to cap off the day's action, the Horsham Hornets men's CBL squad beat the Millicent Magic 94-55 at the Horsham Basketball Stadium.
