Anniversary celebrations soar
Celebrations soar as a good crowd gathered at Rainbow's Southern Mallee Co-Operative Parish church on May 19.

A day of celebrations and thanksgiving created a sense of anticipation and a wonderful atmosphere.
A service of thanksgiving was followed by a luncheon where food and friendship were shared.
The Church Service recognised the "birthday" of the church, in what is known as Pentecost, with God’s Spirit coming in power and bringing joy.
Two very special anniversaries were also celebrated: Jim and Joan Harmer reach their emerald wedding anniversary of 55 years, while Wayne and Elaine Nitschke were married 40 years ago on the day and celebrated their ruby anniversary.
After the service, a feast of three courses was enjoyed as these important milestones were recognised. All who attended appreciated the opportunity to share together and celebrate such great achievements.
