Aerodrome works focus on safety
Following concerns around safety at the Aerodrome in Nhill, Hindmarsh Shire Council have carried out upgrades to the drainage and pavement in the emergency services taxiway and patient transfer areas.

After the upgrades.
Works included broken and non-functioning drains being removed, reconstruction and stabilisation, new concrete drainage and line marking and sealing.
The funding for this project was received through the Federal Governments Regional Airports Program.

These essential works have improved access and safety for aircraft, operators and passengers using the Nhill Aerodrome, which provides essential services like Air Ambulance, Police Air wing, CFA aerial bombers, and local operators and pilots.
