Activities galore for children these holidays
Students in Hindmarsh Shire will have many options for free and fun activities over the holidays, with council staff busy preparing an exciting lineup to entertain the youngsters.
Activities planned for the July holidays include Crafty Arts with Danelle, Tiny Goats and Co farm visits, karaoke, discos, kid’s yoga, and Despicable Me 4 screening at the Nhill Cinema.
For those looking for more active ways to pass the days, separate roller discos for primary and secondary school aged children (a limited number of roller skates and protective equipment will be available to use), and basketball clinics will be the way to go.
“Looking at the planned activities there will be something for everyone in the Hindmarsh Shire these school holidays," Hindmarsh Shire Council mayor, Cr Brett Ireland said.
“The activities cater for those who enjoy sport, like crafts, love animals, or would just like to sit and watch a movie.”
Activities and events will be held over both weeks of the school holidays.
Parents are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment as some activities will have limited places available.
