'A huge move'; Brim K/SH set to join HCA for upcoming 2024/25 season
Discussions have been had between the two parties since 2019.

The Horsham Cricket Association will have a new club for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
At the HCA board meeting on Wednesday, August 14, it was voted that Brim Kellalac Sheep Hills Cricket Club will join the association.
Outgoing president Matthew Crisp was thrilled to finalise the move.
"It was a huge move... It was pushed by our younger guys as none of them had experienced two-day cricket before," Mr Crisp said.
There had been "good conversations" about a potential move since 2019, but COVID-19 delayed the transition from the Wimmera-Mallee Cricket Association.
"We could've made the jump that year, but COVID-19 went on, and nothing happened," he said.
However, the move was finalised quickly once the new HCA board was formed under Justtin Combe.
"I personally gave Justtin a call to congratulate him on his job... He got the ball rolling, and it was a very smooth transition," Mr Crisp said.
The club will be entering an A Grade and C Grade team but can "float between whatever suits the draw."
Mr Combe credited the club for its proactive approach in their discussions.
"I think they're safeguarding their club a little bit... They were pretty adamant. They wanted to play some two-day cricket," he said.
"I think cricket's going to change a lot in the next two to three years. So they're probably getting ahead of the curve a little bit, which is a credit to them."
