A fumbled arrival
It's Tuesday morn and the town awakes the coffee shop to gather, deciding what to do today and generally natter.
Now Nevvy from upper Anderson has had his coffee home but rides down to the bakery to buy the written tome.
His used approach is from the west but, just for change today, diverts upon the eastern path to take a clear runway - throttle closed and hanging flap, he glides toward the bin, brakes gently to a stalled approach and props the port main wing.
"That's very neat" he thought with pride, but then the gear folds down, the bike tilts over to the left and then he's on the ground!
"Hey, Nevvie's down," the group all cry and run to see if they can help as Nevvy dumbly lies beneath the bike against the bin, his helmet all awry.
But he's okay, Bruce lifts him up and seats him at the table.
They're gentlemen, these townsfolk will always help, if able.
The bruised pilot collects his scattered wits and soon completes his task, but "Coffee's On" so the group returns, to what?
Well, must you ask?
