'A big honour'; Natimuk set to host regional gymnastics competition
Over 200 gymnasts will converge on Natimuk from Saturday, August 31.

The Natimuk and District Gymnastic Club will host the west regional annual women's artistic gymnastics competition for levels 3-7 on Saturday, August 31, and Sunday, September 1.
The competition is a major qualifying event for the Victorian Championships, which will be held in Geelong in October.
It is the first time a competition of this size has been held in the region, with the two previous events hosted in Ballarat and Warrnambool.
Club president Kara Puls was thrilled to attract the competition to the region.
"It is very exciting; it's a big honour [for the club] because not many clubs get to do it," Puls said.
"It's just been in the last 18 months; we never thought that it was something we could do."
Over 200 gymnasts from western Victoria are set to compete, while the club will have 20-25 participants.
Puls hopes that bringing a competition of this stature to the region will help the club continue to host events while improving its equipment.
"We have pretty good equipment already, but to keep bettering our equipment and upgrading to what's new is where we look," she said.
"We don't train as much as some of the other clubs, but what training we do have is beneficial to our gymnasts."
