A beautiful sunny day greeted 12 players on Tuesday January 10, and the new season got under way with some good competition.
It was good to start the new croquet year without needing protection from the rain and cold.
Cathy Charlesworth and John Moar got things underway with a solid 7 hoops to 5 win over Charles Rees and Ricky Charlesworth.
Cathy and John went on to end the day equal at the top of the table on 22 hoops each, with Cathy being the only three game winner.
Kelly Walker and Malcolm Jones played consistently, each winning two games.
